Keeping Our Schools Safe — Stay Connected with See, Tell, Now
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our district remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of every student, every day. One of the most powerful tools we have to support that goal is the See, Tell, Now confidential reporting system, and we want to take a moment to reintroduce it to our families and remind everyone how it works.
See, Tell, Now is Idaho’s statewide, 24/7 confidential reporting system that allows students, parents, staff, and community members to report safety concerns such as bullying, violence, self-harm, threats, or any situation that could put someone at risk. Every report is monitored by trained professionals around the clock, ensuring that information reaches the right people immediately and that help is available when it’s needed most.
Since launching in schools across Idaho, See, Tell, Now has helped prevent potential tragedies, resolve conflicts before they escalate, and connect students to trusted adults who can help. The system doesn’t replace those important relationships between students and staff- it strengthens them by providing an additional layer of protection and accessibility.
Why Re-Engage Now? Even in schools already using the system, reminders are essential. New students join, families move, and technology changes. When everyone knows how to use See, Tell, Now, it creates a community of awareness and care where students are empowered to speak up and act when something doesn’t feel right.
How the System Works:
Reports can be made anytime by call, text, or online.
Reports are confidential- the purpose is safety, not punishment.
All submissions are reviewed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by trained responders.
Urgent reports are shared immediately with school administrators and, if needed, law enforcement or crisis teams.
What Parents Can Do:
Talk with your child about the importance of speaking up if they see or hear something unsafe.
Encourage them to keep the number or QR code saved in their phone.
Remind them that asking for help is always the right thing to do.
The See, Tell, Now program is provided at no cost to schools or districts through the Idaho Office of School Safety and Security. It represents our shared statewide commitment to prevention, early intervention, and the safety of every Idaho student.
Thank you for continuing to partner with us in building safe, supportive schools for every child. Together, we can make a lasting difference- when we See Something, Tell Someone, Now.
